KEEP YOUR POULTRY BUSINESS SAFE

Welcome to the Poultry Insurance Exchange Reciprocal of Canada

An insurance program providing insurance and risk management services to members of the poultry industry in Canada.

About Us

The Poultry Insurance Exchange (PIE) provides insurance and risk management services to members of the poultry industry.  PIE is licensed under Part XIII of the Insurance Act of Ontario to undertake the exchange of reciprocal contracts of insurance among its Subscribers.

PIE was formed for the purpose of providing an insurance program for members of the poultry industry because of the absence of a primary insurance market for these perils in Canada.

Our Mission Statement is:

  • To provide members of the Canadian poultry industry access to insurance through the exchange of reciprocal contracts of insurance.
  • To benefit Subscribers through co-operation in risk management.
  • To provide service excellence, leadership, co-operative values, learning, involvement of members and quality products at competitive prices while maintaining sound financial performance.
  • To establish a solid foundation and undertake policies and programs that will ensure continued growth and operation without limitation of time.
  • To be a good corporate citizen by demonstrating a high degree of ethical conduct in the way we operate our business.
